It all begins with an idea.
Nice Twice Club is an accessibility campaign founded in 2023. This community led campaign is ran by Hull residents with lived experience. We offer valuable advice, training, access and inclusion support to local venues.
This campaign was developed from over 171 community conversations in Hull throughout 2022/23. At these community conversations Hull residents spoke about what inclusion means in Hull and what is important to live fulfilled meaningful lives. It was clear that there was a need to improve accessibility and inclusion in local venues. A group of people with lived experience was formed to discuss venue accessibility and what we can do in Hull, soon after Nice Twice Club campaign was formed.
Nice Twice Club got it’s name through discussions around what accessibility and inclusion means, it all comes down to people being “nice” to each other, being friendly, have empathy and understanding.
Nice Twice Club aims to ensure Hull venues are accessible to all.
Spread nice vibes by being nice people!
